SO HOW DOES COACHING WORK?

Firstly, we will arrange a call (video call will be best), where we can talk about your challenges, goals and wishes for your home. You can get to know me a little in the call and we can establish if we would like to work with each other.

Secondly, we determine a date, when I will visit your house to collaborate with you on your organising project. Depending on the project size (one cupboard, a whole room or entire flat) we will need at least one or more organizing sessions. Decluttering and organising will start! I will implement a new structure that works for you and we will establish order in your home.

If you don’t live in Berlin or a personal session is not possible, I can also coach you via video-call.

Wardrobe Declutter

We all have too many things and too many clothes that we never wear. These clothes clutter your wardrobe and make it hard to see what you actually own. Sometimes it isn’t easy to let go of things, some pieces might be sentimental. Some pieces could get back to being „en vogue“, they will fit again… Is that likely?

I will help you to take back control of your wardrobe and get organised.
  • We will go through EVERYTHING and declutter
  • I demonstrate how to fold, arrange and store the clothes to save space and improve how to visualise what you have
  • Together we establish a new structure (Grundordnung in German) for your wardrobe
  • I advise you on how to dispose or repurpose the decluttered items

Home Office Restructure

In the last few years working at home has become a norm. Thus, as we spend more time working from home and need our working space to be organised, intuitive and comfortable.

If you don’t have an extra room for your home office things like paperwork, equipment and resources can quickly spread into other areas of your home which introduce clutter and inefficiency.
  • We will go through your documents and declutter (a lot of documents are being kept for an unnecessary long time)
  • I will bring structure and ergonomics to your home office
  • I sort, index and label documents, so you can reference and know where to find everything
  • I investigate which home organizers (boxes, trays, folder, labels etc.) would be effective and prudent to implement for working from home
  • I advise you on how to retain structure and be organised in the long term

Moving Light

A move always means a lot of work and stress. You have to plan, organize and pack a thousand things (did you know that in Germany the average household has more than 10.000 things!?).

What should actually be transferred to the new home?
A move is a perfect opportunity to take stock of what you have and let go of things that are no longer needed.
  • Together we will go through all of your things, sort together what comes with and what has to go
  • Possessions will be packed systematically and with labels so everything can be easily found at your new place
  • If needed I can develop a plan, where everything will find its place in the new home
  • I will advise you on how to dispose of the decluttered/discarded things
  • I can accompany your unpacking in the new home to help you get a structured and organised new start
